Gathering for weekly worship to be reminded again of our Savior's work is the main event in the life of Faith Presbyterian Church. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:45 a.m. An evening communion service is offered in the months of February, April, June, August and December. With the exception of overnight events, a nursery is provided for all services, studies and fellowships.
For more information about service times and dates please contact the Church Office at (601) 833-0081.
Sunday School - 9:30 a.m.
Sunday School is an opportunity for you to grow in your understanding of the Bible and how to live life as a follower of Jesus. Adult Sunday School classes rotate studies on the New Testament, Old Testament and some aspect of Christian living.
Small group/discipleship opportunities
Much of Faith's shepherding care takes place in the context of small groups. Whether it is in seeking answers to life's questions, a Bible or book study, a need for prayer support and encouragement, our small groups serve to equip and encourage you in your walk with Christ.
Each week a small group of mothers of young children gather to study, discuss, pray and grow in the vital calling of motherhood. If you are a mother of young children, the 'Mom's Study' seeks to serve you as you walk through one of life's most challenging and beautiful seasons.
Working Mom's Study
The Working Mom's study is a weekly gathering of moms who face the challenge of employment outside the home and motherhood. Working moms meet to read and discuss a book addressing the needs of Christian moms in the work place by providing instruction, prayer support and encouragement.
Marriage & Family
We live in a culture that sends mixed messages about family life. What is marriage? How do I live as a follower of Christ in my marriage or as a parent, a son or daughter? Since a degree is not required for marriage or parenthood, most of us go into these most significant of relationships poorly prepared. But, there is great training available! Annual retreats, Sunday School classes or small group studies on marriage and parenting serve to assist and equip families in the direction of Gospel-centered living in the home and community. Contact the Church Office at (601) 833-0081 to find out information on upcoming marriage and parenting classes/retreats or to schedule an appointment for marriage/family counseling.
Young Adult Fellowships
Because relationships are vital to your growth as a Christian, fellowship opportunities are an important part of the life of Faith. Whether it is an annual Christmas ornament swap, covered dish supper or a weekend retreat, fellowship is a necessary part of going deeper in our relationships with one another and going deeper with Christ.
